Baby New Year is here! In celebration of the new year and their commitment to ending euthanasia as a means of animal control, The Haven will have a “New Year, New Pet”, adoption on Saturday, January 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pet Supermarket in Daphne. Then one week later on their usual 2nd Saturday of the month, they will be at PetSmart at the Eastern Shore Shopping Plaza, giving animals in their care a second chance. The 501 (c) 3 animal shelter is spotted all over town in their MARU (Mobile Adoption Rescue Unit), just one of the no-kill shelter’s main resources which help achieve their life-saving mission.
The Haven has the best adoption package in Baldwin County! All adoptable dogs and cats are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. They have been tested for heartworms (treated if positive) and feline AIDS/leukemia and treated for fleas and worms. Along with a new pet, adopters receive the animal’s medical records, a free bag of Science Diet, a FREE pet training DVD, and FREE thirty days of pet health insurance. Adoption fees are: $90 for dogs and $65 for cats, which is a great value for anyone looking to add a pet to their life for the new year!
