Haven’s Dog Adoptions at Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival

The Haven’s 11th ANNUAL RED CARPET RUNWAY PET ADOPTION EVENT, presented by Greer’s Fairhope Market and Blue Leopard Agency, will take place at the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival, on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, 10 am to 3 pm. The exciting event will be in the parking lot of Greer’s, 75 S. Section St, in downtown Fairhope.

Wonderful dogs and puppies will stroll down the red carpet, while being announced by an emcee.  All of the pets shown will be available for adoption.  People will be able to see the dogs and puppies “up close and personal” and to ask questions about them with Haven staff and volunteers.  The adoption fee will include many beneficial elements.

The Haven is teaming up with Greer’s during the festival, to showcase the pets and to raise awareness about the importance of finding loving homes for homeless animals in the community.

Also featured will be Dog Training by Brittany, during which she and her dogs will do onsite demonstrations. Haven merchandise will be for sale and children will be given free Maddies Activity Books.  Greer’s will sell delicious food and drinks. Blue Leopard Agency will have goodies and be available for marketing and advertising tips.

Michael Graham, Executive Director of The Haven said, “The Haven is proud to partner once again with Greer’s. The event highlights our Shelter on Wheels, filled with adorable dogs and puppies who are ready to find their forever homes.

With shelters in our community often at capacity, The Haven works tirelessly to help, including pulling unclaimed strays from the Fairhope Animal Shelter, rehabilitating them, and rehoming them with loving families.  The event also provides an opportunity to share valuable low-cost spay-neuter resources, offer free goodies for kids, and engage with festival attendees, volunteers, and community businesses such as Greer’s – all while having a wonderful time together.”

“This event is a fantastic opportunity to showcase these adorable pets and help them find loving homes, while also connecting with the community and sharing our marketing expertise,” said Seneth Baker, President of Blue Leopard Agency.

A wonderful pet is waiting for you!  Adopting a rescued dog is the best thing you can do for yourself and for a grateful pet.  Remember, “Rescue is the Best Breed “!  Adopt your new best friend on March 15th or 16th in Fairhope.

(Please note:  If they are all adopted on Saturday, the event will not be held on Sunday.)
