Check out the latest adoptable furry canines as they model on the red carpet in search for a new loving home during Fairhope’s 65th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival. The Rescues and Runways adoption event will take place Friday-Sunday March 17-19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day in the parking lot of PNC Bank and Greer’s Food Market in downtown Fairhope.
As they have done at previous festivals, there will…
be a Haven “Red Carpet” event, showcasing newly coiffed adoptable dogs, presenting their best sides and winning ways for an adoring audience and potential adopter. The Haven volunteers will be on hand to present these dogs, each of which has been pulled from one of The Haven’s partnering Baldwin County municipal shelters and ready to go to their forever homes. In addition, Greer’s, a great supporter of The Haven, always has great food and their workers are friendly and helpful.
Face painting for the kids and live dog training demonstrations will be conducted during the event by certified dog trainer Ben Shulman, Owner and Canine Trainer for Dog Ranch Resort.
Ono Pet Photography will also be onsite taking awesome pictures as the mutts strut along the red carpet when introduced to the crowds around noon on Saturday and Sunday. The adoption event will continue as long as weather permits and there are animals to adopt. Come see whose style rates four paws. You may meet your new best friend. Helping homeless animals is always in fashion.
All adoptable dogs have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for heartworms, and more. The Haven’s adoption package includes 30 days of free pet insurance, a bag of Science Diet dog food, 30 days of heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
This event is made possible thanks to PNC Bank and Greer’s Food Market.
