The Haven Will Participate in Fairhope’s Fall Farmer’s Market
Fairhope, AL – Everybody knows eating fresh foods and getting exercise are good for your heart. The Haven’s dogs can’t wait to hit the sidewalk with you. The crop of animals, including abandoned, abused and neglected dogs The Haven has helped rescue from around Baldwin County, can be found behind the Fairhope Public Library as part of the summer Farmer’s Market. Local farmers and bakers present their freshest produce, flowers and goodies every Thursday from 3p.m.-6p.m. between Sept. 24 thru Nov. 12.
“We are grateful to join the City of Fairhope and bring our shelter on wheels to the Farmer’s Market,” says The Haven’s Executive Director Michael Graham. Along with
the Mobile Adoption Rescue Unit {MARU}, The Haven will have T-shirts and emergency pet preparedness kits available for purchase. Kids can have fun and learn about pets with free Maddie’s activity workbooks. You might enter the Farmer’s Market intending to fill your table, and leave with a pet to fill your heart.
