One of the sweetest cats you will ever meet was LIVE on air this morning on WABF 1220AM.

Cloudy, a gorgeous and extremely affectionate 5.5-year-old female Siamese shared the spotlight with Lori Dubose, the talent at WABF 1220AM, the community’s radio station. Cloudy’s motor was purring the entire time and loved all the attention even taking a moment to snuggle up with Lori.

Like the other homeless cats and dogs that call the Haven home, Cloudy is wishing for a Home for the Holidays, where she will enjoy the rest of her life creating new loving memories with her new family.

The Haven’s Board of Directors and volunteers needed a way to help the older furry residents find a loving home before the end of the year. They came up with an idea! All adoptable pets age one year and older who have lived at the no-kill shelter for at least four weeks will have their adoption fee reduced to just $28 – to approved adopters.

“The Haven has been able to continue saving precious rescues like Cloudy thanks to donors and businesses like WABF 1220AM who share their platform to…

give a voice to the homeless pets,” said Michael Graham, executive director of The Haven. “The number of lives saved has increased to the highest in Haven history.”

We are asking WABF listeners and our community to please make a life-saving donation to support your no-kill shelter. The Haven’s programs and services, as well as special adoption promotions like this, are not possible without support from caring individuals. Friendly and adoptable pets like Cloudy would not have a second chance without the nonprofits, loyal donors.

“The Haven can offer adoption promotions and our programs thanks to grants and continued support from donors, ” said Graham. “Our expenses have increased due to the growth in our life-saving efforts. We need monetary donations to cover medical costs and in-kind donations of supplies like paper towels and bleach.”

Cloudy is currently visiting the no-kill shelter until her new loving home is found. Call The Haven today at 251-929-3980 to learn more about this adorable kitty.

The no-kill shelter is looking forward to continuing making a life-changing impact in Baldwin County for homeless pets in 2017. They are urging you to support their mission by making a thoughtful gift, today.

Please call or go online to make your loving, tax-deductible donation, today. Donations can also be mailed to: The Haven, P.O. Box 1063, Fairhope, AL 36533.
