“BANKING ON PAWS” EVENT AT UNITED COMMUNITY BANK FOR THE HAVEN
Fairhope, AL – The Haven for Animals, from Fairhope, and United Community Bank are partnering for a very special event on Friday, August 16, to benefit homeless animals. Everyone is invited to the United Community Bank’s, “Banking on Paws: UCM Pet Adoption Day”, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 28000 US Highway 98, in Daphne, AL, south of the Mobile Bay bridge/I-10 interchange.
The event will be a great opportunity for people to meet their new furever friend. The Haven will have friendly, adoptable dogs and sweet cats available for adoption, as well as information about volunteering and other Haven programs.
The festivities include free food, music and giveaways from the bank!
“United Community Bank is happy to be a supporter of The Haven”, stated Mike Rogers, Area President. “Our company’s name is the driver for what we do. Everybody at the bank needs and wants to be involved in the community. In addition, many of us have had great personal experiences with The Haven.”
Michael Graham, Executive Director of The Haven, stated, “The Haven is moved by the partnership with United Community Bank. It gets more people involved and excited about helping homeless pets. Working with animal advocates such as Tom Alie, UCB’s Universal Banker, who is also a Haven volunteer, helps to make The Haven stronger and better able to handle challenges. The bank’s participation will make a make a big difference – not only for that day, but for showing other businesses what a leading company in the community can do.”
Banking on PAWS: UCM Pet Adoption Day will be a great opportunity for everyone. Come join the fun! Other companies interested in partnering with The Haven are encouraged to contact the director.
