The interactive comedy play “A Ruff Way to Go” ended up not being so “ruff” for the homeless cats and dogs waiting to find loving homes. Thanks to the volunteers, sponsors, local talent, and the audience, close to $1,700 were generated. Two local nonprofit animal rescue groups, Randy’s German Shepard Rescues and The Haven benefitted from the event.
“The Haven is grateful to the director and writer of the play Barbara Ladnier as well as Terri Somme, a local dog trainer and animal advocate, for working hard to make this event possible, ” stated Michael Graham, Executive Director for The Haven. The funds will be used to help spay and neuter our homeless cats and dogs to prepare them for their new loving home.
