By now you have already reviewed your disaster plans and checked off all the items you need on your checklist. If you have done this then you are an emergency preparedness rock star! If you are like many people who are busy with work, getting the kids back to school, and trying to plan your week perhaps you have not had a chance to prepare for storms like Gordon. It is not too late! Just remember to include your furry pets in your plans.
Take all the pets with you. If this area is not safe for you, it will not be safe for them.
